WAPLA is happy to announce the submission opening for the WAPLA 2023 Annual Conference Scholarships. Scholarships cover additional expenses that may not be covered by your institutions’ funding.

These scholarships are available due to the generous support of law schools who participate in our nine WAPLA Caravan law fairs and the dedicated work of our law fair site supervisors who make the law fairs such a great success. We offer these scholarship to support prelaw advisors to attend our region conferences.

Scholarship are available to WAPLA region prelaw advisors, on a first come/first served basis, for a maximum of $1,500 each for attendance at WAPLA’s 2023 annual conference. These scholarships are in the form of reimbursement with receipts after the conference. Reimbursable items include ground transportation, airfare, hotel, meals not included in the conference, and conference registration fee. To be eligible you must be a prelaw advisor at an undergraduate institution and be WAPLA member.

PLEASE NOTE:  Your WAPLA conference registration fee includes WAPLA membership dues in the amount of $50 which automatically covers membership for two calendar years. 

Application deadline: Scholarship applications will be considered on a rolling basis until March 24th or until scholarship funds are depleted.
